Spianata Sarda

Spaniata is one of the most popular traditional types of bread from the island of Sardinia. 

Much like the Romagno piadina in form and consistency, spianata is made from two soft, thin layers of durum wheat dough shaped into a circle, and comes in various sizes. Water and yeast are the only other ingredients used in this delicacy!
